Postdoctoral Research Fellow or Assistant Specialist in the Plant Environmental Epigenetics Laboratory

The Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology (PSC) is a recently established institution of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with joint funding from the Chinese central government, and the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences. PSC aims to become a world’s leading center for plant-related research, equipped with a battery of state-of-the-art core facilities including genomic, metabolomic, proteomic, microscopic and transformation facilities.

Position Description: We are looking for a postdoctoral research fellow or assistant specialist with a strong research background in plant molecular biology, genetics and/or biochemistry, to investigate the mechanisms underlying flowering-time control using the model plant Arabidopsis (http://www.psc.ac.cn/old/research_personal.asp?id=140). Specifically, the candidate is expected to explore the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms for how the transition to flowering is regulated by environmental factors such as day-length changes and cold temperature. The applicants should have a Ph.D. degree from a respected institution and first-authored publications (or submitted manuscripts) in premier international journals.

To apply: please send your resume, a short research statement and a list of three referees to Dr. Yuehui HE (yhhe@sibs.ac.cn).
