A research team led by Prof. Sheng Teng, from Laboratory of Photosynthesis and Environmental Biology, Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, discovered a new fructose pathway in
